Hill Country Tea™ started with a simple desire to bring the Sri Lankan tea experience to America. Growing up in a Sri Lankan household, our founder experienced tea with robust flavors and intense aromas. Once in America, she did not find teas with the strong flavor and aroma that she had grown accustomed to. She then started bringing tea home to America after family visits in Sri Lanka. Eagerly sharing her tea with friends, the response was always overwhelming. Virtually everyone she shared it with raved about its flavor and aroma, and they all wanted their own. In the spirit of sharing a truly great tea experience, Hill County Tea™ was born.
